This webinar is designed for state Medicaid agency staff who work with (or on programs that serve) dually eligible individuals. The webinar will be especially helpful to state Medicaid agency staff who are new to or seeking a refresher on D-SNP contracting strategies. It will also help state Medicaid agency staff understand how State Medicaid Agency Contracts (SMACs) can be used to advance state goals, and state monitoring and oversight of D-SNPs.
Learning Objectives: By the end of this presentation, attendees should be able to:
- Understand state policies that support D-SNP integration and enrollment;
- Describe how state contracting requirements can advance state goals; and
- Understand strategies for D-SNP quality monitoring and oversight.
